Billy Horschel Wins Corales Puntacana Championship for Eighth PGA Tour Victory
Horschel pulls away late in the Dominican Republic
PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic (AP) - Billy Horschel won the Corales Puntacana Championship on Sunday, pulling away late for his eighth PGA Tour victory. The American shot a 6-under 66 in the final round at Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship Course, finishing at 19-under 269.
Horschel's first win since 2022
It was Horschel's first PGA Tour win since 2022 and his first outside the United States. He has now won at least one PGA Tour event in each of the past nine seasons.
"It's been a long time coming," Horschel said. "I've been working really hard. I've been putting in the time. I've been believing in myself. And it's finally paid off."
