Los Angeles Season Cut Short
The Denver Nuggets, with a commanding 3-0 lead, have now defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in their first-round series 11 consecutive times. Los Angeles lost yet again to the Nuggets on Thursday, effectively ending their season as they fell to a 3-0 deficit in the series.
While the Nuggets stars didn't all explode at once against the Lakers on Saturday night, their combined effort propelled Denver to victory. The Lakers attempted a fourth-quarter rally, but it ultimately fell short, resulting in a 114-106 loss to the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference.
